1-2 July 2015

The South West Focus conference will highlight the priority projects in the South West Regional Blueprint and the associated opportunities for businesses and industries. It is designed to spark thought and discussion about the future of our region and hopefully generate ideas for businesses and industry.

We’re working on tomorrow, today

The year 2050 might seem like a long way away. But the plans we put into action now will shape what kind of region people will call home in the future. By working together, we can lay the foundations for the South West we want to call home in the years ahead.

The South West Regional Blueprint highlights what needs to be done to ensure that as the region’s population grows, there are enough jobs to go around and residents continue to enjoy prosperity and quality lifestyles. It forms a roadmap to the future, listing the outcomes that need to be achieved in order for the region to remain sustainable as we journey towards 2050. And while the plan was developed by the South West Development Commission and Regional Development Australia – South West, it’s your region and your future.

Industry sectors that are growing and engaged with both the local market and expanding international markets can get on board with the Blueprint and be part of plans to take the region forward. It’s all about working together to build a region that we all want to live in. That’s a region with vibrant, healthy and thriving communities, and plenty of room for jobs and professional growth.
